More 50mm f/1.8 fun at a wedding

I had the pleasure of shooting alongside Blane Marable at Lauren & Chris’s wedding in Madison, Georgia. Madison’s a beautiful and historic town and this was a perfect place for a wedding. I have 2 lenses that I shoot with out of necessity: the kit lens for the Nikon D90 (18mm – 105mm) and the 50mm f/1.8 D prime lens which I purchased. I can’t recommend the 50mm lens enough because several of my ‘best’ shots were taken with this lens due to the shallow depth of focus (DOF) that it can achieve e.g. Exhibit 1.
I’m not doing any major ‘photo’ work this weekend, but I’m hoping to do more artistic photos. My website, Jane Ullah Photography is a work in progress so this should be a very exciting journey. 😛 Cheers!

Last thing: here’s a sampling of my husband’s guitar riffs. The inline player is courtesy of the excellent HB audio player plugin by Colin a.k.a. lildude. (Update on 05/2011: Using PodPress BluBrry) Enjoy!
