So, I decided to take another stab at the Ubuntu/Linux Operating System and this time around, i decided that it would be best to have separate physical hard disks as opposed to partitioning ONE hard disk. Read More »So, my old nemesis has come back to haunt me: installing all sorts of programs on my laptop and then finding out I didn't like or really need them, proceeding to uninstall them and finding out said programs have left all sorts of traces on my laptop. It's rather frustrating to someone like me who will resort to a reformat of her laptop just to keep the pristine nature of things! Read More »However, there are alternatives to the key programs I'm missing such as Microsoft Office Outlook which is being replaced by Evolution Mail. I'm getting used to Evolution's email interface and finding out that it's not so bad.
