a site for consumers, users and technology enthusiasts in 100 words or more ..
So, after days of hinting and speculation, I've pulled the trigger and with the help of the fantastic developers at Habari (the #habari channel on freenode's IRC server), I've successfully made the switch from the Wordpress blogging platform to Habari, the content management system. Stay tuned for more. I leave you with this piece of eye candy from my Flickr gallery of flowers from the UGA Trial Gardens (behind Snelling Dining Hall):
This blog was started as a labor of love and I started it primarily to edutain (an amalgam of education and entertainment) my readers who seek plain Jane answers to common or uncommon problems with technology used in their day-to-day lives. :) Suggestions?

Hi Jane - welcome to the world of Habari.
I'm aware you had a couple of issues and questions installing the software so a) it's great you persevered (not everyone does) and b) the Habari community were as forthcoming and welcoming as expected.
PS. You have a large number of tags - out of interest, how many posts/comments did you import from WP and how long did it take ?

I had over 600 tags, ~ 90 entries and over 150 comments. It took less than 30 seconds, no lie. I was very impressed and pleased. :)
